We'll Keep The Light On For You...

If you know me you know I love home improvement stores. The guys in the lighting department of Lowe's know my name...as do the paint guys and bathroom fixtures guys. Anyways.....our front porch light just quit working one day. We thought maybe the bulbs needed replacing but that wasn't it. The light had a wiring issue. When we moved in (almost exactly one year ago) the motion sensor on the light didn't work. We just turned the porch light on and off as needed. That wasn't good enough for me soooo....replace it, I did, during Mikey's nap on Wednesday. Now here is the new fixture and motion detector.

I like it! And what a great idea to have a motion sensor there. I've forgotten to turn on the porch light for myself every night I've been out this week.

I love it when you post about home improvements. I am a big home improvement guy, so I know how easy most of this stuff is. Most people either let stuff sit or pay out the wazoo (jim maloney) to get stuff fixed. Your excitement always makes me chuckle. Good work!

Actually I was pretty impressed with your sink. Everytime I try and do one of those I go to Home Depot 59 times to get the right fittings and elbows, etc. It is almost easier to pay someone for plumbing, cause the plumber has the 'ultimate set of tools'.

Nice light. Didn't you like the comment I got from my friend Satan?? We are buds and I am a common find on his blog (I am on his top friends on myspace).

Good for you, I don't think I could ever do such a thing!

Day-um! You are quite the handy man. Your house looks pretty--I don't remember seeing photos of the outside. Do you do all the gardenting?

Yep, I do all the gardening. Mostly in the morning and evenings, as to avoid the heat. I have a garden in the back with tomato, parsley and jalepeno plants (oh, and Scott has a hops plant but I take care of it). I am about the plant the pumpkins this week so they will be ready for Mikey by October.
