We drove down Friday morning and discovered that we are addicted to Wiseman House Chocolates. They are made in a small town called Hico, Tx. I love them. They have a website if you are curious. http://www.wisemanhousechocolates.com/ They have a truffle called "Love Potion" it has chipotle pepper and cinnamon. It was delightful. I am waiting for my shipment as we speak!
Anyways, we went to dinner at a really great family friendly restaurant Friday night. Not much to blog about. Saturday we went to the Alamo for Karen (she had never been) then we walked over to the San Antonio Children's Museum. Mikey had a blast. I definitely recommend it to anyone with kids. Mikey did not want to leave. We had to force him out of the building so we could feed him lunch. We went to the Rain Forest Cafe on the river walk. He really liked the crocodile they had there....that is after he cried because he was scared. Anyways, I have been bored blogging so I'll upload pictures from that and tomorrow if I'm really bored I will blog about my grandfather's 86th birthday. And by blog, I mean upload pictures.
This trolley is right in the entry way. I was worried that I paid $9 just to watch him pretend to drive a trolley and not do anything else. We peeled him off it...literally p-e-e-l-e-d.

There are all sorts of boring pictures that I could put up here about the museum but I thought I would show this interesting dispay. It is a cow that kids can milk. I said aloud without thinking, "Mikey, grab a teat and milk it". Karen replied with, "I bet you never thought you'd udder those words to your son!" I responded, "Not at this age."

The San Antonio Children's Museum looks WAY cooler than ours in NB; I'll have to check it out! Glad you all had fun!
I haven't been there yet, but my mother in law took Becca and said it was awesome!
Mikey looks so OLD! GAH! I can't believe it. He is also looking a bit like Scott now....before I could only see you in him! He is precious, as always!
