This is my grandfather. He is 86. His name is Margarito but we just call him Mago. I never heard an unkind word said about him. I don't think anyone has ever disliked him. He has a Purple Heart from WWII. He has various other medals from both WWII and the Korean War. He used to let us get combs and cups of water and sat still while I styled his hair when I was a girl. He still drives (quite well too). He travels. He usually has a beer in hand when I see him. Must be where I get it from. He has a wicked sense of humor and is either laughing or making someone laugh. You never know what he's up to or what's next. He is one of my heros and as long as he and I are living I will make it to every birthday party he has.
The man to my Grandpa Mago's right is his oldest brother Vicente. VICENTE IS 101 YEARS OLD!!!!

Please keep in mind that it was the end of a very long day when this picture was taken. I had been sweating all day and had been to the Alamo, Children's Museum, Riverwalk, and then to this party so I look rough.
I took about a hundred pictures. Literally. I am kind of a nervous person when it comes to blogging (security reasons, you never know who's stalking you) and didn't post alot of pictures about the rest of the family in case they didn't want their pictures up.

Most of my family has passed away at very young ages; your future looks much brighter than mine!
I remember meeting your Grandpa in Fairbanks! Happy Birthday and I hope he has many more!
