Before and After

This is what the sink was like when we bought the house. I could NEVER get it clean. I would scrub and scrub, bleach, and scrub some more and it just didn't work. The enamel had been worn off and would stain at the drop of any kind of food. I ventured into my favorite home improvement stores and picked out what I wanted....then I went on ebay and bought the faucet set for like a hundred bucks less. I did buy the sink at Lowe's though.

By the way I did this in February and I'm just now blogging about it. I'm lame.

Nothing like a little home improvement to feel like a badass.

Bet you installed it by yourself, too! How do you like the way the sink is divided? What do you use the smaller side for? Is that where the food scraps go? And then dishes go on the right? Or is your sink always that empty?

I did install it myself. It's not that hard. I did need help carrying the old sink out as it was heavy as hell. The stainless steel was super light. This is the second sink I have done. I love how it's divided. I try hard to keep it empty but food goes in the left and ots and pans to the right. I really love the fact that there is a soap dispenser. If you are impressed by my skills I wil post a light fixture I replaced.

Looks great. If we ever move back to our house in Vegas I would like that one! I may be asking questions in two years.
