Busy bee....

The play is over!!!! YEAH! WOOHOO!!!! The best thing about doing community theatre? Babysitters. I have two nice young ladies that are willing to babysit Mr. Babies. I really love this because I can see how they act around grown-up and around their peers. I have seen them over the past few months and have had a really good chance to see their personalities. I am so much happier with letting teenagers babysit after I have seen them for months. I feel more comfortable than getting a name of a girl from a sitter of a friend's.
The other thing that I love is that I have completed the play, I committed to it and stuck it out... even though I really didn't love it. This morning while in the shower I did feel a little sad that I won't see some of these people as often. This Friday and Saturday will be empty with out them. I guess I have to fill the void with going out to eat and seeing a movie.
I didn't love community theater until I told myself that it's volunteer work. I feel better about the time that I committed because it was for a non-profit organization. I did something nice for the community and it was fun. I haven't had that much fun volunteering for something in a while. Who doesn't feel good after doing good deeds?
