Excuses

Ok, so my son is soooo cute! (see the picture below)

I do, however, have one complaint. The kid won't sleep. Unless of course he is in my bed with me, in my lap, on my chest, or in his car seat. When I put him in his crib he screams. I don't mean that he is just fussy. I mean the baby is obviously offended and hurt that I put him there. He is screaming from the top of his lungs. Screaming, the kind that makes you insane, screaming. My big problem is that I can't just let him cry it out. After about 10 minutes I go and pick him up. (I know your are not supposed to because that teaches him that I will pick him up every time he cries like that...blah blah blah)When I do pick him up it's even sadder for me because he does that sigh thing that sounds like he can't breathe (huhuhuhu) and my heart just shatters. Did anyone else have this problem? What do I do? I can't just keep him with me forever...Or can I??? Here is where the excuses come in. I keep telling myself that it doesn't matter because he is so young, he won't stay little forever, and that there will be a time he definitely does not want to see me. Also, Scott will be TDY for a while and I know I will sneak the baby into the bed with me so I might as well wait until after Scott gets back...Right?? If you don't have any solutions do you have any more excuses for me? I am pathetic.

On a completely different topic....I am thinking of cutting my hair. I like this style but obviously with brunette hair...
