I am so immature and unprofessional. I am sure my attorney gags each and every time I send him an e-mail or when he calls me. Let me rewind.
Have you heard my voicemail? Not professional but fun. I sing my message in the tune of Greatest American Hero.
"Believe it or not Lysandra's not home. Leave a message at the beep. I must be out or I'd answer my phone. Where could I be? Believe or not I'm not home."
Then there is the U2(The Sweetest Thing) answer tone. I want you to be entertained when you call. What's more entertaining than U2? Not a whole lot. I really only talk to my friends and family so I didn't think my ring or voicemail needed to be professional.
That is all fine and dandy until your lawyer calls. I don't know how long he laughed on my voicemail. I didn't check. He laughed and laughed and laughed. Then he explained that he used to watch the show Greatest American Hero, and saw the Seinfeld episode where George sang a song like that on his answering machine. Luckily I have caller id. Otherwise I wouldn't know who left this message. He seemed to really enjoy the voicemail. Still I felt like a jackass.
Fast forward to today: I wrote Peace Out at the end of my e-mail to him. I didn't catch it until he mentioned it. What a freak I am. Just have to learn to not be myself. Yikes. Being normal is hard work.

That is hilarious. I need to call your phone!
Or you could let him be the professional one. Sounds like your phone made his day! nothing wrong with being you! Peace out. (see? not me...)
I never watched Great American Hero, but I did see the Seinfeld episode. That is funny!
