I am thinking that Mikey just might be old enough to take to the library. I know people have taken their children before the age of 2 but that was not an option for us. We needed to be at a park expending energy. The last thing that I wanted to do was run around picking books off the floor because Mike the Destroyer decided they needed to be there. Besides, if I want to pick books off the floor then I would just stay at home.
Now that he is speaking more clearly, and putting together 6-7 word sentences, I feel like he will tell me when he is done or if even wants to go. So today I am skipping the gym and we are going to get Mikey a nifty library card. Now he can move up to nerd status like his mom. Yea us! I am thinking of totally geeking out by bringing the camera....we'll see.

There is no way I could take Etta, she's all about running. I could see leashing her and pushing Chloe in the stroller, but the park is just so much easier. However, I am lucky I can go online and have the books sent here to the military community and pick them up. Soooo much easier. I do look forward to nerding out too and taking them to a library some day. Take some pictures and blog!
I totally hope you bring the camera!! That would be awesome!
I take Becca, but I steer her well away from the actual bookshelves. There is a play area with puzzles/tables/games and I direct her there while I quickly grab some books from the shelves! I hope it works well. It is so nice to have new books to read!
