Happy Anniversary!

Yesterday was mine and Scott's 4 years anniversary! Much to no one's surprise we didn't do anything to celebrate it...yet! The squadron commander here gives you a day off for your anniversary. It comes in a neat card and you give it to your flight commander and voila, free day. Scott took Tuesday off and helped me run errands. It was so nice to just have him home to help during the week! Mikey seemed confused but, liked it none the less. Mondays are usually tough for Mikey because he just saw daddy all weekend then when he gets up on Monday morning Scott is already gone. Most of my Monday sounds like this, "Dadda, Dadda, go?" followed by, "truck, car, truck, truck....".

Anyways, my mom should be back from Iraq this weekend and we are going to try to squeeze in dinner and a movie (Good Luck Chuck). I picked the movie and Scott hasn't told me where we are going for dinner yet. My sisters will watch Michael, Michael, Motorcycle.

I can not stress to you how much help I have here. My dad comes by at least 3 times a week just to play with Mikey. Our house is on his way home from work so he just swings by. At least once a week he just takes Mikey after work. My dad is the one who takes Mikey to get his haircuts. He takes Mikey out to eat and my sisters take Mikey on walks. They look at horses, birds, and bugs and other neat things that toddlers like. On the weekends I now get free time because Mikey and Scott go to breakfast with my dad (sometimes my sisters go too, if they are awake!) I knit while this happens. I go to Starbucks for my coffee kick and I knit. It's heaven! My life is much less stressful with all this help. Thank God for having family so close!

Play rehearsal is going well...makes me glad I don't have a larger part in the play. As it turns out, I suck at remembering lines. The one thing I don't like about play rehearsal is that some of these girls have to always have attention. I don't understand why they can't be quiet so we can just get rehearsal over with. I don't like staying late! I have a life! Until next time. Maybe the next entry won't be so random....yeah right!

Happy Anniversary! I would love to have built in babysitters. 18 is the driving age here, so I'm having a hard time finding someone who is willing to babysit and I won't have to take them home. I think I'm going to have to give in on that one. Ugh.
