Aye, Aye, Aye...

Not sure what I ate yesterday but I don't feel good at all today. And for the love of God, No, I am NOT pregnant. Just some digestive problems...that's all. It started when I decided that my diet wasn't healthy enough (Stupid Dr. Oz and Oprah). I started introducing more fiber and proteins and healthier snacks. There wasn't any junk food for a WHOLE WEEK! I was feeling great. I could see a difference in a lot of different ways. I had more energy than normal, if you can believe that. I was more regular if you know what I mean, and everything felt great. I had a great diet. Then the weekend showed up.

Saturday night went something like this:

Me to my friend Karen: Oh My Gosh it's already 5?

Karen: Yep

Me: I gotta feed Mikey! But, what?

Karen: I don't know....

Me to Scott: Let's go to McDonald's!

Scott: Are you sure? When was the last time you had McDonald's?

Me: Hmmmm.....(thought about it for a very long time, When had I last gone?) Oh! Before I went to Minnesota.

Scott: Well, we better not, let's stay home and cook, it will be better for us.

Scott comes out of the kitchen about 45 seconds later: We're goin' to McDonald's

Me: YES!!!

If you don't' know this, I have had a pretty severe love affair with McDonald's for years. I would eat it so much of it that Scott started limiting me to it to once a week. I would even sneak it before he got home form work and take the trash out so he wouldn't know. It was bad and very, very sad. One of my baby shower presents was a McDonald's gift card and I was thrilled! I felt bad after the shower was over because I wasn't gushing over any other gifts like I was the gift card.

Anyways, weekend is over. After McDonald's it was downhill from there. Cookies, Ice cream, soda, pie, cake .I am paying for it today, my tummy is cramping and I feel heavy and sedimentary. Back to clean eating! Although,....a doughnut sounds delicious right now.

My mom had been in Iraq since May. She is a nurse in the military and it was just her time to serve over there. I didn't say anything on here because I don't know who is watching what. It's just better be quiet stuff like that. I can say now because she is back. Anyways, while she did not enjoy being in a war torn country she did like the work she was doing. I think it's always nice when we can see that what we are doing on the earth is benefiting someone in someway. For instance, I am raising Michael to be a very sweet, and caring person, that will someday benefit his wife, Becca. Just kidding.

Anyways, after an Iraqi just blew himself up trying to make homemade bomb, he spit on my mom for trying to take care of him. She took care of him anyways, then he asked if she had a husband, and told her she was very pretty, for an American. Weirdo. How about I spit on you, then ask you out? Totally logical.

I cannot believe he SPIT on her. What an ASS. So, she is BACK? Yay!

I'm so glad you are raising Mikey to be a good hubby to Becca. I am raising Becca to be a mischevious, sassy wife to Mikey. Wait, Mike...where are you going?

I saw that Dr. Oz thing too--about eating 11 pounds of fresh/raw veggies a day. DAYUM. I am trying too. But, I just ate a pack of peanut butter crackers and half a tin of chocolate covered almonds (Dark chocolate makes it healthy, right?) Oh...and McDonald's. I still love it. How much did we eat that in Alaska? (Answer: classified).

I so glad she is back!!

I cannot believe she got spit on.

I'm sorry to hear that you blew your diet and now you are sick. I try really hard to eat right too. I cannot wait until I'm able to hit the gym next week. I haven't been in a month because of work and I am dying to get back in there!

McDonalds? That is the nastiest fast food you could choose! Hope everything goes through your system soon and feel better. Healthy eating usually equals feeling good!

It's a good thing we don't understand why some people do the things they do.

I can't believe you went that long without McDonalds. Wow!

To Katie: You made me laugh with your comment. I told Mikey but he didn't get it. Dumb kid...just kidding. Also, I am so glad you are keeping our McDonald's days classified.
Jamie: Glad you are going back to the gym. It wasn't so much of a diet. I never deny myself foods, just eat well.
Christy: I know, I know I know about McDonald's
Valerie: About McDonald's...I know, right?!

Hey! When will we see each other again? We're thinking of a trip that way one of these days!!

Glad your mommy is home safe!

Oh, and the whole McDonalds thing...I can't say I understand it. The ONLY thing I've EVER had from there was a hot fudge sundae. It just doesn't sound appealing to me. I lied, I HAVE tried one of Andrews french fries before from there and I didn't like it. Maybe I'll have to adventure out one of these days!
