Phew!

I was totally all about letting you know about the weather pixie that I forgot to mention one crucial thing about my day yesterday. Can you say Space Cadet? That's me...anyways, we closed on the house yesterday. It's officially part mine part Scott's. I am a home owner. I can actually feel myself turning into an adult...I love it. I will try to take some pictures today. Remember that I still have a lot of work to do to it. This week and weekend I will be painting up a storm. Luckily, my best friend Karen is going to help. Oh, and you will notice I said I....I mean it. Scott doesn't paint. He refuses. He said he likes it as it. Just so you know the living room is Yellow...bright, sunshiny yellow. Those of you that know me well know I hate that color! HATE. IT. I know it's the new color for spring and summer and it ultra trendy right now ( I even recently bought a yellow handbag. Gag. But I figured it's my way of being trendy without wearing the color on my actual body.) but, I am gonna have to turn a blind eye to that fact and paint it a neutral color. So wish me luck and hope I didn't get a money pit!

Here is just a regular snapshot from my life here. This was taken on Mother's Day, you will have to excuse my looks considering I only got home from the E.R. about 6 hours before and was vomiting and pooping my brains out the night before. One of my longest friends Thana (known her since the 3rd grade) was visiting with her baby Kaylee (in the bouncy chair). It's just typical to always have some one around... Which is good because ya'll know I love me some friends! So if you are in Texas, stop by MY HOUSE....I might make you some tamales, if you are lucky.

Congrats on the house. Take some before and after pictures! I painted our spare bathroom a bright yellow but I would never do an actual room in it. I completely agree with you, neutral all the way. Good luck, painting takes time. We pack out in one week!

You are going to have a blast fixing your house all up. It is a lot of work, but very rewarding!!!!

Can't wait to see photos, but I would love even more so to see it in person! I'll just invite myself!

Holy cow...you'd make us some tamales. Those things take forever to make. Hopefully you have some already made :0)
