Lately I haven't been going out as much. I've just not been in the mood. It sort of ebbs and flows for me. If the girls want to do something then usually I'm the first one in...lately we have been doing stuff at our houses. Things like wine and movie night or private little dinners tucked away in to our residences. We haven't all been out in a while and decided to take up an invitation to a friend's birthday party.
I can tell I haven't been out to the bar in a while because when waiting for a stall to open up in the restroom, I asked the girl in front of me if she was "waiting for a friend or needing to use the potty." She gave me the most curious look and I mumbled something about being a mommy.
I need more adult time.

That's funny...mommy talk. The locals ask me often what I mean when I ask Etta if she needs to go potty. It's probably as foreign to the Japanese as it is to a non-mom back in the states.
