Celebrity Crush: Robert Pattinson

Ok, I was never really the type of girl that has/had celebrity crushes. It has happened a few times though. Joey McIntire (NKOTB), some Cuban kid from Sand Lot, and Daniel Craig.
I had a mild crush on Robert Pattinson when he played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire but he was still some obscure British actor. Scott made fun of me for it. I was ashamed and I decided to really keep my girly crush to myself. It wasn't worth it to hear my husband tease me about it...

Then my friend Erin H. recently introduced me to Twilight. I had seen it in the book stores through out the year and even picked it up...to contemplate buying it. I was interested until I saw something on the back cover about one of the characters being a vampire. I rolled my eyes and placed the book back on the shelf. Not interested in vampires. Thanks.
Erin said that she was reading it. I could tell she was very involved in the book, seeing as how she wouldn't put it down. She was reading every chance she got. She asked if I wanted to borrow it. I said, "Sure" since I wasn't really reading anything that I was enjoying. I read it in one day. I. Loved. It. I was feeling bad at how much I loved it. It was certainly a new feeling for me. I haven't craved books this much since Babysitters Club in my teens. Were there more books like this? Bad isn't the proper term...more like guilty, a very guilty pleasure. I feel guilty and lame because I am pretty sure these books were written for teens.
I fell in love with the gravity of this fictional world.
.
So last Wednesday I read Twilight, I then went to see the movie with Erin that night.
Thursday: I read New Moon (again borrowed from Erin).
Friday: I went to the store and bought Eclipse and Breaking Dawn...Friday night and Saturday morning I read and finished Eclipse.
Saturday night :I started Breaking Dawn while Scott drove Mikey and I down to Dallas.
Sunday: I ran a marathon relay (Dallas White Rock Marathon). I finished the book Sunday night. Last night.

I am so bored with my real life now. I know that's an awful thing to admit but I am. I love that world, those books, the characters... which brings me back to my celebrity crush. I am now loving Robert Pattinson from both Harry Potter and Twilight. He played the main love interest in the latter. I was attracted to him before but, now that I read the Twilight Saga and have seen the movie ....sigh...I am moving him to number one on "The list". (The list is this stupid list that Scott and I have that states if we were to meet said celebrity, we could make out with them. I really shouldn't call it the list since I only ever have one person on it. I didn't have anyone on the list till 2007 (Daniel Craig)...but it's almost 2009 and I have bumped off Craig. Scott on the other hand has at least 3...last time I asked.)

So there you have it. I have a celebrity crush and that makes me lame....you probably already knew this.

Maybe, someday he will want to come out to this little Texas town and meet a married mom who is 6, almost 7, years older than him and is a physics major. Yeah, that's what he wants.

Okay. Can't say I get it with this one. I haven't read the books yet but have heard that they are awesome. He is just NOT good looking to me at all...but maybe you have to know the character he is playing or something!

P.S. So, who is on Scott's list?

I have to agree, I thought it was a young cutie in Harry Potter. I may have to check out the twilight series, I'm in a book slump. Might have something to do with being in another country! Who is on Scott's list?
