Overdue randomness

Here are Michael's pictures that I took of him on his first day of school. Also, are pictures of some swallowtail butterfly caterpillars, and a bumper crop of jalapenos that Mikey and I grew.

Mikey has a very odd cowlick that makes him have a natural faux hawk. I am going to be bummed when that goes out of style. He's always had it, but short hair cuts really showcase it.

Caterpillar time! The reason we had these caterpillars is that we grow parsley. Certain butterflies prefer certain foods...these like parsley.

These jalapenos were in a pretty big bowl. Michael took a bite out of one...or attempted to. I wouldn't have ever known except I found this at the back door. He was outside with me the whole time but I didn't see him do this. He didn't tell me or act like his mouth was burning. I asked him if tried to eat a jalapeno. He said, "Yes, Momma, I did twy it. I dint wike it....yanks but no yanks momma. bye bye, see you waiter."

That is NOT Mikey! When did he turn into a KID? He is just totally adorable (I mean he always has been, but he looks so grown up!!!)

I am impressed he didn't have a screaming fit after eating that jalapeno. He is tough!

Pretty jalapenos! I can't believe Mikey even tried one, too funny. He's looking like such a young man.
