On Saturday I finally got my acceptance letter for the local university! I have been planning on finishing my degree and wanted to go to school in Alaska but got pregnant the 2nd week I was there. I didn't feel like being huge and in a class. I just wanted be slovenly and eat.
So, sometime in November I will go see an advisor and I will begin the spring term in January....as a mom, in my late 20s with a pink backpack, and life experience. Oh God, I hope I'm not that lady in class that has all the answers and annoys the other students. I probably will be though.
I am not looking forward to being the older girl in the class but am excited to be learning stuff. I will hopefully still want to be a teacher when all is said and done...I still hate kids though, so, we'll see.

Congratulations!! I'm so proud. Hang in there, focus on the end game, and you'll do great.
Good for you!!
Yay you! I'm not sure anyone in class will pick you out as the oldest!
It is funny Lysandra, you are the LAST person I would ever expect to become a teacher. I seem to recall you beeping the horn with the remote to Scott's car, while ducked down in your entry way at some kids playing on the curb because they were too close to your house. Funny!
Andrea...you right I totally forgot about that. Ha...no wonder Scott calls me the devil.
