I think that it's important to realize that blogging really shows you only a few facets of one's life. It just depends on that person's mood and that is all you get...you don't see the small details of one's life. I don't feel like I have enough time to blog as it is so, I don't always feel like you really know me unless you spend time with me. There are some of you that read this blog that see me maybe once a year if we happen to be in the same town for a few hours, at best. That helps, but it's not the same as seeing me often. I like to think that to know me is to love me! So here we go. A long and boring tirade about me! Please note that these aren't in any kind of order of importance. Please also note that I do love Mikey and Scott, but there is more to me than them.
I Love red wine, knitting, good quality cold beer.
I love Alaska, Arizona, and Colorado.
I really love traveling. I love this beyond words. I love Spain, Italy, Greece, Germany, Mexico, Costa Rica, Austria, Sweden...I could keep going but I won't. I love to travel because we live in such a beautifully rich, and culturally diverse world. I love to just sit, drink an espresso, and soak it all in.
I love watching television shows about traveling.
I love people watching and people criticizing.
I love MOVIES.
I love to eat! Sushi, Steak, Greek, Thai, Japanese, Italian, Mexican, Dessert, and any kind of bread. A friend of mine recently made me a German dish and I loved that too....good food is good food. I love to eat.
I really love my friends. When I am with my friends I am most certainly the purest form of me. I am not Scott's wife or Mikey's mother. I am me. I love having a few hours a week to just be with my friends without my family. I am a better mother and wife when I have had a break from them. I know it sounds mean but it's true.
I love being selfish with my alone time. Again sounds harsh, but it's true. I like to go eat by myself with paperwork. I can concentrate. I can focus and I work without complication.
I love to work at my Yarn Shop. It is most certainly my passion and love. I could work for a week straight fueled by coffee and no sleep and would still love it just as much as the first day if not more.
I love Starbucks. I don't know how they do it but they are magic makers with coffee. No other coffee company compares.
That's all the ranting I could do today. Now it's time for another thing I love.
A NAP!

I feel too that I am a better mother and wife when I have a break! We need to get together because I would love for you to teach me how to knit!!!!
To the readers:
I have known Lysandra for YEARS... about 15. We do not talk or see each other like we used to, but I have known her before she became Scott's wife and Mikey's Mommy. And she said it right here... to know her is to love her. She is an AMAZING woman!!
Please tell me what you love about Arizona. I'm not getting it! And have you been to all those places?? Wow! I've barely been out of the country. I like the idea of traveling.
Funny you say this because I feel like I've gotten to know you better through the blog than when we lived in the same town. Guess we didn't hang out much then though.
What's the next place you would like to travel too? We really want to get to Europe but it will be several years if ever. But, our for sure next place to see is Australia after our assignment in Japan. I like traveling too, it's neat to see how other people live.
Great post! I love reading all those things. And, it doesn't sound harsh AT ALL to need alone time and time off from parenting. God, I wish for it on an hourly basis!! You need to keep up with what makes YOU you. Sounds like you are managing to do it all very well!
You forgot to mention sandwiches :)
