Yea for Moms!

Hip Hip Hurray! My Mommy is here! I love my mom so much. I am so grateful that is out visiting me for a little over a week! If I am using too many exclamation points it's because I am trying to get the right tone that MY MOM IS HERE! I thought this day would never come. She has come to visit me before (when Michael was born) but this is a nice treat. I am getting so many things done. For instance, I am making (you read it right, making) Michael's Halloween costume. Don't worry when all is said and done I will post some pictures. I have made a to-do list for everyday that my super mom is here and actually crossed stuff off it. I know this may not seem like a big deal for some people but for me it is a small victory that actually makes me feel better about myself. Sometimes, I even write "make a to-do list" on my to-do list so that I have something to cross off. I can do the dishes, watch a whole 30 minute sit-com, take a timely shower, do hair and make-up all with out interruption. I really think this is why moms are made so that they can become grandmothers and help us needy people out. I am in for a world of hurt when my life goes back to turtle speed. All I have to say is Yea for Moms! Oh and p.s. I am a pretty awesome mom soooooo....Yea for ME!

Isn't it wonderful that our moms love being grandmas? Just having them help out a little bit helps us out a lot! I wish my mom was here. Luckily we'll be going on vacation with them next month so I'll have lots of extra hands with Etta. Moms are great.

I AGREE!!!! I think that is why suddenly once a woman has a baby she wants to be near her mom. Mothers are comforting on so many levels. I am so happy fo ryou that she is here. Enjoy your time with her and your time by yourself! :)

I meant--enjoy taking a long shower or something "by yourself" while she is THERE. Didn't explain that right.

Yeah, my mom was here for 4 weeks. Normally, I would think that was too long, but she was doing everything for Ashlyn. I didn't want her to leave!
