Please pour yourself a beer and toast Greg Young's life and contributions during his stay on the earth. Greg passed away Tuesday when his F-15 crashed into the ocean. Greg had a very, very special part in my life. Greg and I went on a blind date (it wasn't so much a date as much as just a group of us hanging out) along time ago...he had a friend. His friend was Scott and I married Scott. Without Greg I would have never, ever, ever had met Scott or for that matter, I wouldn't have my Mikey either. So here's to you Greg Young. He was a wonderful and great and very dear friend to Scott, a great pilot, a loving husband and father. I am sure other people knew him in other awesome ways, but Greg will always have a big spot in my heart. I say have a beer (preferably Fat Tire) because how I remember Greg best was when we would go out and have a few beers and listen to live music at The Iron Horse. He is missed greatly and will always be missed. Greg, I hope you know how much I appreciate the gifts in my life that you have in a way given me. I may not always get along with Scott but I wouldn't go back in time to change things. I am who I am now because you were there one night with your friend. Thanks for making me a wife and a mommy. Scott and I joke all the time that without you there is no Mikey. I know that is weird but we thought it was funny, we know you would have too.
I can't find any pictures on my computer ,but Scott has a ton of pictures printed out. This is the only photo I could find.

I'm so sorry for your loss...that is a terrible, terrible thing.
Oh, Lysandra. I am so sorry for you and Scott and for Greg's family. I read about that crash in the newspaper. What an awful, shitty thing to happen. I hope you hug Mike and Scott extra hard tonight. I will be thinking about you.
Y'all, Greg's family, and all of his friends are in my thoughts & prayers. Your post was a wonderful and beautiful thing to do for him.
We will make sure to do a toast in his name.
I'm sorry Lysandra. Please tell Scott that I'm thinking about you all. So tragic.
It's always hard hearing about military men/women that die but it's espeically hard when you know the person. My prayers are with his family and friends.
