Michael went to his first children's Christmas party on Friday night. Our squadron held one. It was neat-o. It was in a "hawg pen" (hangar) and they taxied in Santa Claus on an A-10. Way to go Flex. He was a great Santa, if you didn't know it was him already it would have been difficult to tell who it was. I worked the craft booth where children made snowmen form tube socks and stuffing. It was ok. I don't know why I volunteer but I was feeling generous at the time when asked but during the party I wished I got to hang out with Michael and Scott more. All in all,it was good time but really cold. The neighboring hangar was open for Flex to taxi in and it was -10 plus all the kids went out side to see Santa in the jet, so it just kept getting colder by the minute in the hawg pen.
Wow, some party...Is it getting cold in here?

Oh that's why it's cold!

I was warm and comfortable, why did you put me on this weird guy's lap??

Don't worry he recovered quickly...

WAY TO CUTE! It looks like he enjoyed Santa once he got used to him!
Did Santa bring him anything?
I am excited for Salem's first Christmas; however, I'm not sure how much to really get her sense she won't understand. I think we'll just let the grandparents handle most of it.
How about you guys?
We finally got snow down here in Texas. Of course, it melted in two days. I'm trying to upload my pics, but Blogger is not cooperating!
Looks like fun! I bet the kids loved watching Santa taxi up in a plane.
I'm glad you had a fun Christmas party for Michael. Etta won't be going to the squadron party this year, it's a 45 minute drive away! That's just asking way to much for a little one. Has he fully recovered from surgery?
