Let's Talk about Sex

Ok, don't be encouraged or discouraged by that title. It can mean a lot of things. I just wanted to get your attention. You have to have sex to get a baby (well, in most cases anyways, but I won't go there). So the question has come up discussing the next baby or Baby #2 as I like to call it. Just to let everyone in on it and so no one feels left out we are going to start trying very soon. It could be as soon as October (yes, I know that is next month) but we need to find out where we are moving first. If we are moving to the lower 48 then we will try sooner (Oct) than later (Feb). If we are moving to Europe then we might want to hold off a little while. Our plan is to start trying no later than Michael's 1st birthday. Which to be precise is Feb 5, 2006. We had to endure some hardships to get our precious Michael, so we understand that it could take a while. If it doesn't it doesn't, but we are prepared if it does. If you have any questions please leave a comment.
Moving on...This doesn't have anything to do with sex now but it could in the future. Could I be raising a dominant male? We'll let you be the judge. Last week sometime, (I can't remember what day because they all tend to run together) we had an impromptu play group. My friend Katie brought over her darling little Becca to play with Michael. We thought it was going well. They were taking toys from each other but not crying because they would just pick up a new toy and be distracted by it instead. I like to think of this as how babies "share". It was sweet to watch them sorta play with each other, or at least acknowledge the other's presence.

I don't know what happened next but I guess Michael was either instantly love struck or very famished. I can't figure it out because this has happened twice, even after I fed him. He just started in on Becca...Open-mouthed, I might add.

The Pictures Say it All You have GOT to be kidding me!

I LOVE YOU!

So there you have it loyal readers. My son looooooves the ladies! Especially one little girl in particular. I am officially apologizing for my son's cave-manish behavior. I am so sorry Becca.

Oh my god. Those pictures are SO hilarious!!!! That was the funniest thing! Too bad you don't have a shot of Becca crying afterwards! She loves him. She just isn't much for PDA, I guess.

It's funny you should mention trying for another baby because I posted about the same thing yesterday! I am having some serious baby fever again!! I think that we are going to stick with our plan to try next summer, but I would love to be pregnant again!

OMG! You two are soooooooo bad! My little Daniel needs to stay away from your boys so he doesn't get any crazy ideas! Thank goodness I don't have a girl. I'd have to hide her out. At least "becca's father" is trying to rescue her from the beginning. Hey "becca's father" my little Daniel is a perfect gentleman... and he is just as cute as others.

That is very funny. I also like John's comment.

I understand the debate about where you move can affect when you want to have a baby, how long it could take, so many factors. You are way faster than I would ever be, though.

Wow, you're going to need a tight leash on that boy when he's older!
