Busy...
While I am not working I still keep busy. I don't know how moms work and do stuff at home. Yesterday I had my dad pick up Mikey on his way home from work so I could replace the entry way light fixture. I also did 3 loads of laundry (and I don't think you have a true grasp of how much I loathe laundry), took down some old curtains with the hopes of putting new ones up today. Took down the dining room curtains and washed those.....I also vacuumed, dusted and put away toys. The kitchen is clean and so is the guest bathroom. I miss work...because then I didn't have to work so much.

AMEN, Sister. I feel like I spin my wheels all day long, continually picking up mess after mess. Then, as soon as Becca's in bed for the night somehow the house is trashed and I have to do it all again. And, on days when I resign myself to not cleaning while she's awake my sanity is totally shot.

Isn't that so true? I think it's hard to explain to others though :)
I don't think mom's that work outside the home do keep up with the housework - at least that's what I tell myself so that I don't feel so bad that my house is a total pit. Jared and I decided that we need a 1950's housewife - someone to clean, cook, fix us cocktails and get our slippers when we come home from the office. That way I can focus on being the fun mommy for Ali and the FUN MAMA for Jared instead! I don't know though, I don't think we'll find anyone to fit the bill...
