Let's just say that before Scott married me he was definitely a bachelor. You know the kind. They are the bachelors with the free leather sofa's that his buddy gave to him when he got married. There is that horrid coffee table made of cinder blocks and spray painted particle board, pictures of scantily clad (if at all clad) women in various rooms of the house. Worst of all probably (not always) some form or pornography exists in the bachelor pad. When I moved in with Scott the scantily clad women went away some to another room or box never to be opened or seen...and some, well, some just sort of disappeared. I can't say to where though. I plead the fifth. Other things stayed around. We still have those yucky couches (which I swear are not making it another move, I always say that and yet here they are). The mismatching dishes are long gone but his prized cereal bowls are not...and neither are the Girls Gone Wild DVD's. I have a feeling about this move though and I think they are not going to make it. I normally didn't have a problem with these things until...look carefully. How many GGW DVD's do you see? I see 3!
As for the particle board coffee table, it was replaced with a beautiful oak table. I am not sure if it will make it long here though either. See proof below. (I know the b&w's are not my best work but I was in a hurry to take these while he wasn't paying attention and forgot to change the camera settings, sorry. Oh, also, you will notice that some of the knobs on the drawers have been taken off. It's so that Mr. Babies doesn't get into them and make a bigger mess than he already does.)

I love the picture of Michael in the drawers. Etta does that with our step tansu from Korea and I'm nervous about how long that thing will live. Sometimes I wonder if it's best not to buy anything nice until the kids are all grown up. Heck..maybe once they leave the house would be best.
I'm lucky to say Eric was never that much of a bachelor. If he was...I never and still don't see it.
Poor girl!
So funny. You just described Glenn...even down to the cinder block table.
Those are all hilarious pictures! I hope you get the couches of your dreams when you move.....
I'm sweating in our 82 degree weather...just had to see what your pixie had to say about Alaska. Burrr! -11!
How funny! During our move Joe pleaded to keep my old college particle board TV stand that wabbles when you blow on it.
By the way...love the pics of Mikey...keep them coming!!!
