I am never drinking again....ok, that is a lie. But seriously, I am not drinking that much for a while. Since I haven't really been a very big drinker for a few years now (pregnancy and breastfeeding kept it at bay), I have no idea when I need to quit. I think I should stop at 4....definitely not 5. That's it. It's settled. 4 drink maximum for me.
Let me back up. Last night was a promotion party for Scott and some other dudes. We hired a sitter and I got showered and ready for it. Showered people! Big deal! It was very fun and totally worth showering for. Unfortunately 5 cosmos just may be too many.
The crappy part about drinking that much is when we had a 4.9 earthquake 20 miles south of here at 5:51 in the morning, I was too tired to do anything about it. I heard a bunch of noise (closet doors shaking and other things rattling) but thought it was my dog or my husband or the drunk dude sleeping on our couch just being annoying. I miss too many good things being intoxicated. I woke up with a headache but it wasn't as bad as the Holiday party back in December. Good times. Tomorrow we are headed out for the 2nd annual Chena Hot Springs trip with Wilf (a dude Scott works with)...I will try to get some pictures. Luckily it's been really really warm here and it will make tomorrow more fun. Lately it's been a nice and balmy 10-15F! It sounds horrid, but the other day I ran errands and didn't even wear a coat, or a hat or mitten. You just get used to it. Have I mentioned that I love Alaska?

Wow. I'm missing out on EVERYTHING. I didn't notice an earthquake and I was sober (unfortunately). I wish I had seen you drunk--it would have been fun! Have fun at Chena! Can't wait to see pictures. We need some more Mikey pictures on this blog!!!
Sounds like you had a really good time! I haven't drank with you in FOREVER. Anyways, I now see why you said you wouldn't drink...hehe...lasted long i see. Silly girl.
